Frequently, persons who purchase real estate, both commercial and residential, do so without the assistance of legal counsel. Even the most routine real estate transactions may involve legal issues unbeknownst to a purchaser or seller.

At Michael W. Nalli, P.C. we will assist you with all facets of the real estate transaction. In both cases, we will work with any agent you have retained to effectively represent your interests in a real estate transaction.

If you are a purchaser, we will assist you with reviewing any proposed sales agreement and making recommendations for inclusion within it, as well as coordinate and participate in the closing to ensure that the transaction goes as planned. .

If you are a seller, we will assist you with the review/preparation of any proposed sales agreement and insure that you have provided all necessary documentation to the purchaser required by law. In addition, we will communicate efficiently with the purchaser, its agent, and/or its counsel to ensure that your goals and objectives are met in this real estate transaction.


The Process

At Michael W. Nalli, P.C., typically we follow the following process in handling the real estate transaction:

  1. Meet with the client to discuss the real estate transaction.
  2. In the case of the purchaser, discuss what items they desire to appear in the real estate agreement of sale and work with the seller, seller’s s agent, and/or seller’s counsel in drafting an appropriate agreement of sale. In the case of a seller, prepare an agreement of sale for the client’s review and comment.
  3. Review all important closing documents and appear at the closing with the client
